Experience You Can Count On

Craig Lobnow, the principal consultant for ProCASp, has over 25 years of construction management and inspection experience. A Certified Access Specialist (CASp #634) by the State of California, Division of the State Architect, Craig is also an International Code Council Certified Building, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical Inspector. It's one thing to be able to identify areas of concern, however Craig also has the experience to make sensible recommendations to help you remediate any problem areas.

At ProCASp, consulting is our only business. Often, CASp inspectors are contractors who offer CASp inspections to drive work to their primary business. This creates a conflict of interest, as we have seen several instances where a consultant will identify high cost barriers that are not actually required to be removed. We have no such conflict because we do not perform any barrier removal, and consequently we have no reason to identify compliance violations unless they are actually required to be removed. In addition, we often get calls from plaintiff's attorneys wanting us to work with them on lawsuits they have filed against business owners. We work with numerous defense attorneys, and we will not work with plaintiff's or their attorneys, or anyone contemplating filing accessibility related lawsuits.

Having worked with businesses ranging from the sole proprietor retail store to a 180 store shopping center, in addition to restaurants, hotels, wineries, churches, State of California buildings, apartment complexes, and large multi-campus private schools, we are prepared to help businesses of any size evaluate their accessibility compliance. We have completed over 1,200 accessibility inspections of commercial buildings, publicly owned properties, and detention facilities. We provide accessibility inspections to clients throughout California, in addition to Arizona, Nevada, and numerous other states.

What will a CASp Evaluation cost? Give us a call! We know that disability compliance is a confusing subject, and we will do our best to answer your questions. After we hear about the details of your accessibility concerns, we can then put a cost estimate together for you. We are anxious to solve your compliance issues, and you will receive a written estimate from us within 24 hours. This is a collaborative effort and good communication is essential to helping you alleviate your concerns and solve your compliance problems. Call us! We look forward to helping you with your accessibility compliance needs.

At ProCASp, we are dedicated to helping you find Intelligent Accessibility Solutions.
